Monotype is a technique in which coincidence finds its way into every single work with endless possibilities of altering the outcome through little changes in the used materials.
The motive is painted on a plain surface like glass or metal and then printed on paper, creating an original hybrid between a print and a painting.
I mostly use different oils and oil colors to explore organic structures and to picture the biological forms that are most interesting to me at the moment.
